Vic is a General Partner at RRE Ventures, bringing over 20 years of experience as an operator and investor. A builder at heart, Vic founded 4 venture-backed startups and co-founded Eniac Ventures, dedicating his career to backing technical founders at the earliest stages. He is a thematic investor currently exploring open source, LxMs and the data stack.

 

For 15 years, Vic was instrumental in establishing Eniac as a premier early stage venture firm scaling from a $1.5 million Fund I to over $500 million in AUM across seven fund vehicles. As an entrepreneur Vic built startups in AI, consumer, developer tooling and mesh networking. His previous startup Kanvas, was successfully acquired by Aol and his latest Originalis is the intelligent composable operating system for private capital markets.

 

Vic began his career as a full stack software developer building enterprise grade systems in supply chain and ERP. He started his venture capital journey at RRE and now returns as a General Partner, coming full circle to serve founders from inception through growth and beyond.

 

Born in Guyana and raised in Jamaica Queens, Vic’s life journey shapes his gritty, grounded approach to building and investing. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was a Toigo Fellow and a BSE from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a National Science Foundation Fellow.

 

Vic is a Board Trustee at Inwood Academy, a charter school for leadership. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters. In his downtime Vic enjoys cooking, sandboxing, listening to hip-hop and reggae, and staying true to his roots.

fun fact

Vic’s first job was spreading cloth with his brothers and father in a garment factory earning enough to buy gold chains and Jordans. To this day, he is critical of imperfectly cut plaid shirts.
